ScanQueue Integrations

How ScanQueue fits the rest of your stack. Notifications are built in, ScanQueue runs alongside the systems you already use, and Enterprise customers can request API access for custom data flows.

About the “750+ apps” claim

Several queue management vendors advertise “750+ integrations” on their homepages. In practice, that's the size of the Zapier marketplace — a number many products can cite. We take a simpler view: queue management needs very little wiring. Notifications to your customers are built in, ScanQueue runs alongside your existing CRM, POS, or booking system without setup, and Enterprise customers who need data to move between systems can request API access. That's the honest list — it's below.

What's built in

No connectors to configure — enable what you need from the dashboard.

  • SMS notifications

Built in. Customers get a text when it is their turn, in Australia and the US. No setup beyond enabling it.

  • WhatsApp notifications

Built in. Send queue updates over WhatsApp, with two-way replies (check position, leave the queue).

  • Email confirmations & reports

Built in. Queue confirmations for customers and summary reports for you.

  • Voice & phone check-in

Built in. Customers can join the queue by calling the AI receptionist — no app, no smartphone needed.

  • Enterprise API access

Available on Enterprise plans on request. Push or pull queue data programmatically. Contact support to discuss access.

Runs alongside your existing systems

ScanQueue does one job well: managing the live queue. It doesn't replace your CRM, POS, booking platform, or clinical system — it sits next to them. Your other tools keep handling records, payments, and appointments; ScanQueue handles who arrived, when, and when to call them in. For most businesses that means there's nothing to integrate.

Need data to flow between ScanQueue and another system? API access is available on Enterprise plans on request — email support@scanqueue.com to discuss it.

Integration FAQ

Does ScanQueue integrate with my CRM, POS, or booking system?

ScanQueue is built to run alongside your existing systems, not replace them. Your CRM, POS, or booking platform keeps handling bookings and records; ScanQueue handles the live queue — who is waiting, when they arrived, and when to call them. For most businesses no integration is needed. Enterprise customers who need data to flow between systems can request API access.

Does ScanQueue have an API?

API access is available on Enterprise plans on request. If your team needs to push or pull queue data programmatically, contact support@scanqueue.com to discuss access. Most small and mid-size businesses do not need it — the built-in notifications cover the common workflows.

What notifications are built in?

SMS (Australia and US), WhatsApp, and email are built into ScanQueue — set them up in minutes from your dashboard, with no third-party connector to configure. Voice and phone check-in via the AI receptionist is also available.

Do I need "750+ integrations" to manage a queue?

Honestly, no. Some queue vendors advertise "750+ integrations" — that is the size of the Zapier marketplace, a number many products can cite. In practice, queue management needs very little wiring: notifications to customers (built in) and, occasionally, a way to move data to your CRM (Enterprise API access). We focus on doing those well rather than marketing a number.

Can ScanQueue run with my practice management or EHR system?

Yes — alongside it. ScanQueue is designed to sit next to your PMS or EHR (Best Practice, Genie, MedicalDirector, Epic, Cerner, and others) without integration. Your clinical system handles appointments, billing, and records; ScanQueue handles the physical queue. No integration is required for most clinics. Larger health services that want bidirectional data flow can request Enterprise API access.
