ScanQueue Integrations
How ScanQueue connects to the rest of your stack. Native integrations for the things you actually use, webhooks and a REST API for everything else, and Zapier for the long tail of 750+ apps.
About the “750+ apps” claim
Several queue management vendors advertise “750+ integrations” on their homepages. In practice, that's the size of the Zapier marketplace — any product with a Zapier connector can technically make the same claim. We have a Zapier connector too, so the same 750+ apps are available to ScanQueue users on the Growth plan and above. But most queue-management workflows only need two or three integrations done well: SMS, calendar sync, and a CRM. We focus there. The honest list of what we actually do is below.

Integration FAQ
Does ScanQueue connect with 750+ apps?
Yes — through Zapier. The Zapier marketplace exposes ScanQueue webhook events (queue join, queue notify, queue served, queue cancel) to over 750 apps including Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Sheets, Airtable, Stripe, Xero, and many more. We also offer native webhooks and a REST API for direct integrations. The "750+ apps" claim some queue management vendors highlight is functionally a Zapier marketplace claim — the same connectivity is available to ScanQueue users without paying for an enterprise tier.
What native integrations does ScanQueue offer out of the box?
ClickSend and Twilio for SMS notifications, SendGrid for transactional email, Stripe for billing, OpenAI and Anthropic for the AI receptionist and support agent, Telnyx and Retell for voice AI calls, and Supabase for realtime queue updates. These are all wired in already — no setup needed beyond enabling the feature.
Does ScanQueue have a REST API?
Yes. The ScanQueue REST API lets you create queues, add walk-ins, fetch queue status, trigger notifications, and pull analytics from any system. Full documentation is available on request — contact support@scanqueue.com to get API credentials. Most customers don't need direct API access because Zapier or webhooks handle their integration use case in minutes.
How do ScanQueue webhooks work?
Configure a webhook URL in your ScanQueue dashboard and ScanQueue will POST a JSON payload to that URL whenever a queue event occurs — a customer joins, gets notified, gets served, or cancels. You can use this to update your CRM, log to a data warehouse, trigger SMS through your own provider, or post to Slack. Webhooks are available on the Growth plan and above.
Do I need 750 integrations to manage queues?
Honestly? No. Most businesses connect ScanQueue to two or three things: an SMS provider (already built in), a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or a spreadsheet), and maybe Slack or Teams for staff alerts. The "750+ apps" claim sounds impressive but in practice it's the Zapier marketplace count, which every Zapier-enabled product can claim. We focus on doing a few integrations very well — SMS, calendar sync, CRM, accounting — instead of marketing a number.
Can ScanQueue integrate with my existing point-of-sale system?
Indirectly, yes. POS systems vary widely (Square, Toast, Lightspeed, Vend, Kounta) and direct integrations differ per vendor. The most reliable path is via webhook or Zapier — when a customer is served on ScanQueue, fire a webhook to your POS to start the order, or use Zapier to push the customer name to your POS's waitlist. For Australian retail, the most common pattern is Zapier between ScanQueue and Lightspeed, or webhook + custom middleware for Square.
Does ScanQueue integrate with my practice management or EHR system?
ScanQueue is designed to run alongside your PMS or EHR (Best Practice, Genie, MedicalDirector, Epic, Cerner, etc.) without integration. Your clinical system handles appointments, billing, and clinical records. ScanQueue handles the physical queue — who arrived, when, and when to call them in. No integration is required for most clinics. For larger health services that want bidirectional data flow, we support webhook-based integration via your IT team.
What about calendar integration for appointments?
ScanQueue's appointment scheduling syncs with Google Calendar and Outlook via Zapier (most common path). Native calendar sync for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 is on the roadmap for 2026. For now, the Zapier integration handles the most common workflow — when an appointment is booked in ScanQueue, create a calendar event for the staff member.
