About ScanQueue
ScanQueue is a cloud queue management platform that replaces clipboards, ticket dispensers, and crowded waiting rooms with a virtual queue customers join from their own phone. Built by Tugadot Pty Ltd in Australia, it serves restaurants, barbers, clinics, retail stores, and event venues in over 100 countries — with a free plan and 5-minute setup.
Our Mission
Walk-in businesses lose customers, frustrate staff, and waste hours every week to disorganised queues. We build software that turns those queues into measurable, calm, customer-friendly experiences — without forcing anyone to install hardware, train on a complex system, or commit to a sales cycle.
ScanQueue is opinionated about three things. First, the customer should never have to download an app — a QR code and a browser is enough. Second, staff should manage the queue from any device, not from a dedicated kiosk. Third, pricing should be transparent and start at zero, so a single-location restaurant can start the same day as a multi-branch hospital.
Who We Are
ScanQueue is built and operated by Tugadot Pty Ltd, a software company headquartered on the Gold Coast, Australia. The team has shipped queue management, voice AI, scheduling, and SMS infrastructure for businesses across hospitality, healthcare, retail, and government.
We work with customers in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand, and the platform is hosted in the Sydney edge region for low-latency global performance.
What ScanQueue Does
- QR-code check-in — customers scan, enter their name, and join the queue. No app downloads, no kiosks.
- Live multi-device dashboard — staff manage entries from a tablet, laptop, or phone. Every device stays in sync.
- SMS, WhatsApp, and Voice AI notifications — automated alerts the moment a customer is up next.
- Multi-location and multi-service queues — run separate waitlists for different services or branches under one account.
- Analytics — wait times, peak hours, throughput, walkaways. Use data to staff smarter.
- Appointments — walk-ins and bookings managed in a single unified queue, with smart rebook of cancelled slots.
