The only QR-first queue platform deployed across F1 weekends, hacker conferences, and immersive exhibitions in the same month

ScanQueue is the queue platform of choice for experiential agencies that need pop-up infrastructure live in under an hour — not days. Unlike Envoy or Greetly (designed for static office reception desks), and unlike Qminder or Qmatic (which require iPad kiosks and pre-event installation), ScanQueue runs on a printable QR code that goes up at the activation gate and comes down the same night. Free Starter plan, multi-language SMS bundled on Growth, no per-message charges, no kiosks shipped, no IT ticket.

The Events ScanQueue Runs

From single-night pop-ups to multi-month exhibition tours, ScanQueue handles guest entry across four core categories.

Formula 1 Race Weekends

Brand activations at Formula 1 race weekends — hospitality lounges, experiential suites, sponsor spaces — need to move thousands of guests through controlled entry without the queue blocking the venue's main concourse. ScanQueue handles QR check-in at activation gates, with the dashboard updating in real time across the on-site team.

Scale: Up to thousands of guests across single F1 weekends in Miami (US) and Melbourne (Australia)

Deployed at the Miami Grand Prix in partnership with 160over90, and at the Australian Grand Prix (Melbourne) in partnership with Avantgarde

Immersive Exhibitions

Touring immersive exhibitions move from city to city with timed-entry tickets and front-door staff who change every stop. ScanQueue gives every venue the same QR check-in flow, multi-language SMS to guests, and a dashboard that on-site staff can learn in one shift.

Scale: Continent-wide tours with multi-month venue runs

Deployed by Exhibition Hub and Avantgarde

Global Tech & Enterprise Events

Brand booths and experience zones at tech conferences need queue management for demo stations, hands-on activations, and product try-outs — without long lines clogging the show floor. ScanQueue handles QR check-in at booth entry, with the dashboard tracking flow across multiple stations in real time.

Scale: Used at DEF CON Singapore and similar enterprise tech events across APAC

Deployed by In2Ideas

Brand Activations & Pop-Ups

Experiential pop-ups, sampling stations, and roadshow activations need queue infrastructure that goes up in under an hour and comes down the same night. Print one QR code, configure one service, and you are live — no kiosks, no installers, no IT ticket.

Scale: Pop-ups in shopping centres, festival sites, and city squares

Deployed across 160over90, Avantgarde, and Exhibition Hub activations

Why Event Agencies Choose ScanQueue

Built for the realities of pop-up deployments, multi-language guest lists, and on-site teams that change every event.

Live in under an hour

Print a QR poster, set up your services, and you are running. No procurement, no kiosks shipped, no on-site installer.

No app required for guests

Guests scan the QR with their phone camera and join the queue from their browser. Zero friction at the front door.

Multi-language SMS

International events send notifications in the guest's language. Bundled SMS and WhatsApp on the Growth plan — no per-message charges.

Brand-customizable join page

Logo, colours, and copy match the activation's brand. Guests never see ScanQueue branding unless you want them to.

Real-time staff dashboard

On-site team sees every guest, every queue, every wait time live. Filter by service, mark guests called, manage flow without a paper clipboard.

Multi-location & touring events

Run identical setups at every tour stop. One dashboard view per location, central reporting across the campaign.

Event Queue Management FAQ

Yes. ScanQueue is built for high-throughput moments — Grand Prix race weekends, immersive exhibition openings, and brand activations regularly process thousands of guests per day on the platform. The dashboard refreshes in real time and the SMS / WhatsApp notification pipeline is designed to scale with traffic spikes.
Most pop-ups go live in under an hour. Sign up, configure your services (e.g., "VIP Entry", "General Admission", "Press"), customize the join page with your brand colours and logo, then print and place the QR code at the entrance. No hardware to ship, no installer to schedule.
Pro plan customers get priority support during scheduled events. For large-scale or critical activations (Grand Prix weekends, exhibition openings), we coordinate with the activation team in advance and stay on standby through the event window. Talk to us about your event and we will scope what makes sense.
Yes. The customer-facing join page is fully brandable — logo, colours, headline copy, button labels. Guests typically see the activation's brand throughout, never ScanQueue.
Yes — multi-location is built in. Run identical configurations at every stop, with a per-location dashboard for the on-site team and a central reporting view across the entire tour or campaign. Add or pause locations as the tour moves.
ScanQueue runs in the browser on any device with a connection — staff can use a portable hotspot, the venue's wifi, or 4G on a phone. The dashboard reconnects gracefully when signal drops back in. For underground or remote venues with no signal, we recommend a backup connectivity plan.
Most of our event customers run ScanQueue alongside their existing ticketing — guests use their ticket QR or a separate ScanQueue QR depending on the activation flow. Native ticketing integrations (Eventbrite, Cvent, etc.) are not built today; talk to us if your event needs one.
